Katie – born in Drexel Hill, Pa and raised in Linwood, NJ is a 2004 Graduate of Atlantic County Institute of Technology with a Certificate of Culinary Arts, 2006 Graduate of Johnson & Wales with an Associates of Baking and Pastry Arts, 2008 Graduate of Johnson & Wales with a Bachelors in Food Service Management with a Concentration in International Hotel Operations Management. Katie has 18 years in the culinary industry beginning her career as a bus girl at BJ’s Breakfast Shop then as a prep cook at Greate Bay Country Club, an assistant baker at Signature Desserts by Irene, Baker at Seaview Marriott in Galloway, NJ, Pastry Chef at Charlotte Marriott City Center, barista at Starbucks in Charlotte, NC, hostess and pastry chef at Providence Bistro, shift supervisor at Starbucks in Somers Point, NJ, Pastry Chef at Trump Marina, Pastry Chef/Manager –Formica Brothers Bakery Café, office manager at Yoos Expert Tree Service, Culinary Arts Instructor at Atlantic County Institute of Technology and owner/baker/cake designer of KP Kakes.

Charl – Born in Sea Isle City, NJ and raised in Linwood, NJ, Charl attended Peirce University in Philadelphia graduating in 1975 and then studied Marketing at Wharton School of Business 1977-1979. Owner/operator of Ship Shape Yacht Detailing 1983-1999, Secretary of South Jersey Landscape Association 1988-1990, current owner of The Ledger Ladies Bookkeeping Service 1997 - present, Secretary of Professional Chef’s Association of SJ 2004-2006, and through current cliental have gained experience and thorough knowledge of construction, financial and retail industries in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Other previous positions have consisted of secretarial head hunter – MS Services, Philadelphia, PA, Marketing Specialist at Reuben H. Donnelly in Philadelphia, Marketing Assistant– Elkman Advertising, Bala Cynwyd, PA, Commodities Specialist – Prudential Bache Securities – Atlanta, GA and Atlantic City, NJ. Charl’s true expertise lies in customer service and relations.
